The Side Currents works are created as part of my painting process, where the figurative and the abstract meet. When I form the vivid shapes of my paintings with abundant acrylic paint and a roller, layers of colour remain on the tool, which I then roll onto paper. From these movements of paint emerge small landscapes — pathways of where I came from and where I was heading — each a unique reflection of the flow within my creative process.Born within the chaos of the creative process, these works carry an inherent, raw imperfection – entirely unique.
