Sivupurot-teokset syntyvät osana maalausprosessiani, jossa figuratiivinen ja abstrakti kohtaavat. Kun luon maalausteni värikylläiset muodot runsaalla akryylimaalilla ja telalla, telaan jää maalikerroksia, jotka rullaan tyhjiin papereihin.

Näistä maalin liikkeistä muodostuu abstrakteja pienoismaisemia – reittejä, joista tulin ja joihin olin menossa. Teokset ovat luovan prosessin kaaoksessa syntyneitä ja luonteeltaan eläväisen epätäydellisiä - täysin uniikkeja.

The Side Currents works are created as part of my painting process, where the figurative and the abstract meet. When I form the vivid shapes of my paintings with abundant acrylic paint and a roller, layers of colour remain on the tool, which I then roll onto paper.

From these movements of paint emerge small landscapes — pathways of where I came from and where I was heading — each a unique reflection of the flow within my creative process.Born within the chaos of the creative process, these works carry an inherent, raw imperfection – entirely unique.
