About Chaga: Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is the most powerful mushroom we grow here in the North. It is parasitic to the birch tree and develops its own medicinal properties with the help of the birch's nutrients. Widely used here in Finland for its anti-oxidant and immune supporting properties. Chaga is the highest in antioxidant compounds gram per gram. These antioxidants can support your DNA from being damaged by free radicals. We actively cultivate 100,000 kilos a year from sustainably managed organic forests in Finland. We are proud to be supporting more ecologically advantageous forest management solutions while growing this high powered medicine. As we are waiting to harvest from our growing network we currently buy organic wild foraged chaga from Lapland Finland. We use only conks in our products. The conk which contains the medicinal compounds is actually not a fruiting body, that comes after the tree has died and has not been studied for medicinal compounds. About our extraction process: We dual extract dried chaga conks at a ratio of 1:5. This ensure each bottle of liquid extract is very potent with all the important medicinal compounds extracted. Compounds of interest in chaga includes: triterpenes betulinic acid beta-glucan inotodiol Dosage: KÄÄPÄ Health tinctures are the leaders of mushroom extracts. Always start with smaller dosages, and work your way up. Recommended maximum daily dosage is 2ml. As our extracts are strong, we recommend taking a week off after every 3 months of use. Not during pregnancy or for kids.
