How the cleanse works:
Justine will provide handmade ghee infused with organic ayurvedic herbs and instruct how to use for a 5 day cleanse. The 5 day cleanse is chosen to suit your schedule. During the 5 day cleanse, the herbal ghee is eaten daily to help pull fat soluble toxins from the body. Fat soluble toxins are more difficult to remove than water soluble toxins, as water soluble toxins are generally flushed out with urine. Once the ghee has trapped the fat soluble toxins, a special oil is ingested to flush the toxins.
Herbs are infused with ghee in order to quickly and evenly deliver herbal healing deep into the body’s lipid-based cell walls. In Ayurveda, ghee is used as a carrier for the nutrients in herbs and to lubricate the intestinal tract and all the tissues inside the body.
You decide according to your calendar when you would like to start the detox.
During the class we will discuss Vata season (autumn- winter) and determine which foods and lifestyle plan are best for the season.
