The artwork is inspired by the pandemic era, during which we were forced to cocoon for a while, compelling us to grow new wings. The muse for the painting was an old black-and-white photograph of a woman hanging from gymnastic rings in a vintage athletic outfit.

The painting is part of the Mother Earth art series, where nature and humanity intertwine, reminding us that humans are not separate from nature but an integral part of it.
