Vuodesta 2015 lähtien HELride on vallannut Helsingin kadut, spotit, korttelit – ja jopa ostoskeskuksen – tuoden yhteen skeittaajia ympäri maailmaa.
On aika juhlistaa vuosikymmenen mittaista taivaltamme julkaisemalla rajoitettu erä HELride HELyeah –10-vuotisjuhlakirjaa. Kirja kertoo HELride-skeittitapahtumasta, joka tapahtumineen ja ihmisineen on muovannut Helsingin ja koko Suomen skeittikulttuuria. 2000-luvun alun jäähallissa järjestetyistä kisoista matkataan tähän päivään ja muistellaan yhdessä koettuja unohtumattomia hetkiä mielenkiintoisten tausta tarinoiden ja kuvien kera.
Digitaalisessa maailmassa, jossa muistot katoaa syötteisiin ja bittiavaruuteen, halusimme luoda jotain käsin kosketeltavaa ja koettavaa, niin kuin itse tapahtumakin. Tämä kirja on fyysinen muisto siitä, mitä olemme yhdessä rakentaneet.
HELride HELyeah –10-vuotisjuhlakirja on kiitos ja kunnianosoitus kaikille teille, jotka olette olleet mukana luomassa tapahtumaa ja tehneet siitä sen, mitä se tänä päivänä on.

Since 2015, HELride has taken over the streets, spots, blocks – and even a shopping center in of Helsinki, bringing together skateboarders from around the world.
It’s time to celebrate our ten-year journey with the release of a limited edition HELride HELyeah! 10-Year Anniversary Book. This book captures the story of the HELride – an event and a community that have shaped skateboarding culture in Helsinki and across Finland. From Icehall contests in the early 2000s to today’s city-wide celebration, we look back at the unforgettable moments we’ve shared, told through behind-the-scenes stories and stunning photography.
In a digital age where memories vanish into the never ending feeds, we wanted to create something tangible – something you can hold and experience, just like the event itself.
This book is a physical reminder of what we’ve built together.
HELride HELyeah! is a tribute and thank you to everyone who has been part of creating this event and making it what it is today.
