Returns & Refund Policy
Effective Date: 2 July 2026
This Returns & Refund Policy explains your statutory rights and our return procedures for purchases made from Cutiemags Oy.
Nothing in this Policy limits your mandatory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.
- Right of Withdrawal
Consumers located within the European Union generally have the right to withdraw from a distance sales contract within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods without providing a reason.
To exercise this right, you must notify us by email or another clear written statement before the withdrawal period expires.
- Returning Products
Returned products should:
• be unused beyond what is necessary to inspect them;
• include all accessories where applicable;
• be returned in their original packaging whenever reasonably possible;
• be adequately packaged to prevent transport damage.
Customers remain responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
- Return Procedure
To initiate a return:
- Contact our customer service.
- Include your order number.
- Describe the reason for the return (optional for statutory withdrawals).
- Wait for return instructions.
- Ship the goods within the applicable legal deadline.
Unauthorised returns may delay processing.
- Return Shipping Costs
Unless otherwise stated:
• customers are responsible for return shipping costs when exercising the statutory right of withdrawal;
• if the product is defective or incorrectly supplied, Cutiemags will bear reasonable return shipping costs where required by law.
- Refunds
Once the returned goods have been received and inspected, refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.
Refunds will normally be issued within 14 days after:
• receiving the returned goods; or
• receiving satisfactory proof that the goods have been returned,
whichever occurs first, as permitted by applicable law.
- Partial Refunds
Where legally permitted, a reduced refund may apply if returned goods have suffered diminished value due to unnecessary handling or use.
- Exchanges
We currently do not guarantee direct product exchanges.
Customers wishing to receive another product may be asked to place a new order after the original return has been processed.
- Defective or Incorrect Products
If you receive:
• a damaged item;
• an incorrect item;
• a manufacturing defect;
please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Depending on the circumstances, we may:
• replace the product;
• repair the product where appropriate;
• provide a full or partial refund;
• offer another remedy available under applicable law.
- Products Excluded from the Right of Withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply where exclusions under applicable legislation apply, including, for example:
• personalised or custom-made products;
• sealed products unsuitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons once unsealed;
• digital content supplied electronically after performance has begun with the customer's prior consent;
• other products excluded by applicable consumer protection law.
- Refused Returns
Returns may be refused where:
• no legal or contractual right of return exists;
• products are returned outside the applicable return period without prior agreement;
• returned items have been intentionally damaged.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
