Signed copy of an investment book I wish I had myself started with: CONSIDERING STOCKS.
Tens of thousands of pages of investment wisdom and lessons learned from a decade of active investing have been condensed within these covers. Hence, you will not learn how to quickly double your money. Rather, you’ll embark on a journey to better understand the wonderful world of business from many viewpoints, while avoiding the most common mistakes of investors. "Considering stocks" is an entertaining and educational book for anyone interested in stock investing. Written with true Nordic self-irony, no topic is safe from scrutiny; not the hottest investment trends, market history, or the author’s own investment decisions.
The book, I’ve heard, is quite good. It suits people of all ages, but it is not for everyone. If you wish to save time and effort in learning the basics of investing, steepen your learning curve, avoid mistakes made by me and many others, or if you reckon that investing has a somewhat grey, dry, and cigar-stenched reputation that needs some spicing up, this is the book for you. If you have a distaste for educational business narratives and you are serious as a heart attack, you have the wrong book in your hands.
