Fairytale A Christmas tale from the Woods is a story about the true essence of a Christmas gift - how the most simple kind of gifts are more important than we might think.
One day before Christmas, a little boy named Bruno was sitting inside his home on the couch.
He liked very much to watch TV in the wintertime in the comfort of his home while observing the cold weather outside. Winter wasn’t his season because it was too cold and the frost on the grass and the streets made it slippery and unpleasant for Bruno to play outside. But Bruno also liked to stay inside during winter because of the way he could entertain himself at home: watching TV, playing video games, playing with his cat and enjoying the biscuits his dad made. The outdoors was just boring for Bruno! The wintertime was made for spending time with his family, while the summer was for his friends, thought Bruno.
For many weeks it didn’t snow, there was only rain and wind. But one day, some snowflakes fell onto the garden outside and on the trees of the woods surrounding the house. Within a couple of hours, snow started to grow into a thick layer.
Bruno still didn’t want to go out and explore the surroundings until his dad said:
"Bruno, darling, why don’t you go out and play in in the snow? It is the first snowfall of the year.” [...]
