By purchasing this event ticket, you agree to the following terms:

● Code of conduct and penalties

We reinforce that the dance floor and the dance community is not a place for inappropriate, not consented actions, coercion, intimidation, unwanted and unprovoked behavior or violation of personal boundaries.

We reiterate that Brazilian Zouk should not be sexualized, and intimate touching on the dance floor is NOT OK, specially if not consented. Connexion has boundaries and the goal of our dance and culture is to celebrate movement, music and fun, not to cause harm and trauma.

Predatory behavior at any level performed at HDC will not be tolerated and the individuals responsible for such acts will be at risk of being banned permanently from any event or activity organized by Helsinki Dance Central.

As sensible and delicate these situations may be, we encourage anyone who experiences any situation like this to report the incidents to the HDC directors, so assertive action can be taken.

As a penalty due to misbehavior on the dance floor, HDC directors have the right to refuse a ticket purchase from a known offender, cancel the participation in an event in course, even after paid and with no rights of reimbursement.

Our main priority is to care for the wellbeing of our students and to create a safe environment for our community to thrive and grow, and we are committed to do that to the best of our abilities.

● Credit Card/Bank Account Agreement

By registering and paying for Helsinki Dance Central (HDC), events, services, or products I hereby authorize HDC, to charge my credit card or bank account in advance for all applicable fees incurred by me in connection with my chosen service and registration. I hereby understand and agree that in most cases, HDC will be charging my designated credit card or bank account in accordance with the payment schedule of the service for which I have registered, but some service fees may accumulate on my credit card account or bank account before they are actually charged to my account. I further understand and agree that it is my responsibility to notify HDC, of any changes to my credit card or bank account or if my credit card has expired otherwise my access to the Service may be discontinued or interrupted. All fees shall be paid in Euros.

I understand that the payment is non-refundable.

● Communication Agreement

I agree to make communication between myself and the instructors of HDC/Events as open as possible by providing an e-mail address I know to be current. Furthermore, I agree to check my e-mail messages frequently so that I may see any updates from my instructors/organizers.

● Commitment Agreement

The instructors will not be held liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from anyone utilizing the information and instructions contained within the workshops, either in a teaching capacity or student capacity. The participant acknowledges that any activities are AT THEIR OWN RISK and must use their own judgment of their physical capabilities & limitations. - Once you have registered for the event, there are no refunds. In case of injury or illness, you may completely transfer (once) your place in the Festival up to 2 weeks prior to the event date. Completing your registration you agree with the Terms of Service here described and also, not to record or make any video during the lessons without previous authorization from the organizers and/or Instructors.

● Property Agreement

All class information is for the dancer and HDC, and may not be used for resale or retraining others outside of class unless written permission has been received by Freddy Marinho and Andressa Castelhano of Helsinki Dance Central.

● Release of Liability

I am the participant named in the registration form. I understand that there are known dangers and/or risks associated with the participation in the class, and activities associated with it. In consideration of participating in the event workshops, I hereby release Helsinki Dance Central, Freddy Marinho, Andressa Castelhano and other representative, instructors, and/or volunteers from HDC (hereinafter “Freddy & Andressa Ay”) from all claims, damages, actions, lawsuits or judgments that I, executor of representative may have or hereafter have arising out of the dance classes. Further, I agree to defend and indemnify HDC from all claims by any person or entity arising out of the participation in classes.

I understand that it is my own responsibility to take care of my body and limitations, any injuries are my responsibility. If necessary I will identify any prior injuries/limitations and/or medical issues to the instructors and my dance partner where necessary.

● Photography and videography Release

I, the event participant, grant rights to Helsinki Dance Central, for the publishing of photographs or recording videos for commercial, promotion, or other purposes.

● Policy Agreement

I, agree that I have read Helsinki Dance Central Policies and understand and accept their content. They are listed below. I agree to all the conditions mentioned in the Policies.

Once you have registered for a seasonal course, your commitment is to pay the total amount of the selected ticket and there are no refunds. You may completely transfer your place in the course/workshop in cases of illness/injury (subject to approval and confirmation that the replacement has the necessary prerequisite experience to attend the course/workshop). In the case of eligible refunds (Freddy’s & Andressa’s progressive courses/workshops only, it does not apply to festivals and other events), it is 90% of the total amount paid due to administration fees. Passes are individual and cannot be shared.

I agree not to video record instructional material during workshops/classes, except when permitted by the instructor. When permitted, I will not post the recorded video on the Internet, unless I have received permission in writing.

By signing up in the course I also acknowledge that I have read the foregoing Liability Release Waiver and understand its contents; that I am at least eighteen (18) years old and fully competent to give my consent; That I have been sufficiently informed of the risks involved and give my voluntary consent in agreeing with this Liability Release Waiver as my own free act and deed with full intention to be bound by the same, and free from any inducement or representation.

I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT AND I FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENT. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT AND I SIGN IT DIGITALLY OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
