Guided Exercise: Kitesurfing Transition Session (Snow to Water) Already active in the snow? Transition your kiting hobby to the water with our guided exercise session. This program is designed to provide the physical skills and instructional support needed to adapt your existing kiting movements to a marine environment. Guided Exercise Goals: To provide the instructional environment for participants to safely engage in water-based kitesurfing as a regular physical activity. In this guided session, you will practice: • Environmental Adaptation: Active guidance on the physical differences between snow and water kiting (terrain resistance, safety procedures, and spot dynamics). • Power Management: Guided practice on generating and controlling kite power specifically for water-based movement. • Balance & Coordination: Focused exercises to achieve board-on-feet control and postural stability. • Active Water Starts: Supervised practice of the water start and first meters of recreational riding. Session Details: • Group Size: Semi-private guidance (Max. 2 participants per instructor) for a high-quality exercise experience. • Duration: 2 hours of active guidance. • Location: Active sessions held in Helsinki or Hanko (location confirmed based on wind conditions for optimal exercise). • Language: Finnish or English. • Who is this for: Active snowkiters looking to expand their physical recreation into kitesurfing. What’s Included: The session fee covers all necessary safety and exercise equipment: wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet, and board. We encourage using your own kite for familiar movement, but we provide specialized school kites if your equipment isn’t suited for water exercise.
