Course description

Has it been way too long since your last improv scene? You dozed off and now it’s been months or even years? Perhaps you want to kick your improv up a notch? This course is for you: Level Up! A 9-week course with 3 different teachers sharing their unique view.

In this course, you get to revise the basics and further build your improvisational skills to create scenes that pop! We will explore scene structures and dynamics, and learn how to support your brilliant scene partner in their glorious choices!

Teacher Descriptions

Jutta Tilvis

Jutta has been doing improv since 2013. She’s known for diving headfirst into bold choices and peculiar characters. Her teaching is shaped by a background in theatre and blends physicality, imagination, and a deep love for all things delightfully odd.

Janne Lesonen

Janne Lesonen has been doing improv since 2010. He’s known for his playful style on stage and he approaches improv through fun & freedom and believes that in the end everything comes down to the joy of playing.

Juho Korhonen

Juho has been doing improv since 2014. He especially loves characters and voice work. His belief is everyone has something to give, and anyone can be creatively expressive.

11 people really is the magic number for having fun. Last sign-up date is Tuesday 23 September. Refunds will be offered only if the course is cancelled.

Age Limit

The course is limited to participants aged 18 and above. By registering, participants confirm that they meet the minimum age requirement.

Experience requirement

Participants should have completed either Improv 101 or Improv 201 with Finland Improv Ry, or an equivalent beginner-level improv course elsewhere. This ensures everyone shares a common foundation and can fully enjoy building skills together.
