WHAT

This workshop is split into two parts: Focus & Fun.

The FOCUS section is all about getting on the same page with your scene partner. We will practice techniques on active listening, being specific, and establishing your character's point of view. From my experience, improv scenes that fall apart are usually unclear, complicated, or confusing. The focus part of the workshop is all about simplifying your scenes so that you can get to the fun.

The FUN section of the workshop is all about bringing yourself to your scenes, playing actively, embracing discovery, and being a selfless teammate.

Focus and Fun go hand in hand! If you know what you’re doing and you’re on the same page as your scene partner(s), you’re bound to have more fun playing together. This workshop will teach you tools to simplify your scenes and have as much fun as possible.
