BASIC FINNISH (A1). PART 1

Course content: Welcome to our introductory course on the Finnish language! This course is designed for beginners who are eager to start their journey in learning Finnish. Through a series of structured lessons, you will build a strong foundation in the language, covering essential topics that will help you communicate effectively in everyday situations. By the end of this course, you will be able to recognize and pronounce Finnish letters and numbers, use common greetings, form basic sentences, ask and answer simple questions.

INFORMATION: There will be eight meetings in our course, the timetable and the topics are:

Tuesday 22.4. at 2 pm-3 pm: Alphabets Tuesday 29.4. at 2 pm-3 pm: Numbers Tuesday 6.5. at 2 pm-3 pm: Greetings Tuesday 13.5. at 2 pm-3 pm: Verb “Olla” + personal pronouns Tuesday 20.5. at 2 pm-3 pm: Days of the week Tuesday 27.5. at 2 pm-3 pm: Languages, countries, nationalities Tuesday 3.6. at 2 pm-3 pm: Verb type 1 + vowel harmony Tuesday 10.6. at 2 pm-3 pm: Question words

Before the lessons, I will send you material which basically includes different kinds of games to practice the vocabulary for the coming topic. During the lessons we speak as much as possible with support material. I will keep the group small (maximum 6 persons) to get everybody the chance to participate a lot.
