This course is designed for beginners who are eager to start their journey in learning Finnish. Through a series of structured lessons, you will build a strong foundation in the language, covering essential topics that will help you communicate effectively in everyday situations. By the end of this course, you will be able to recognize and pronounce Finnish letters and numbers, use common greetings, form basic sentences, ask and answer simple questions. This course is ideal for learners who have already acquired the basics and are ready to deepen their understanding of Finnish. Through carefully planned lessons, you will expand your vocabulary and gain confidence in forming more complex sentences. The course covers diverse topics, including weather, clothing, colors, family, and adjectives, while introducing essential grammatical concepts like the genitive case and the expression "minulla on" ("I have"). By the end of the course, you will be better equipped to describe situations, express possession, and use adjectives to communicate effectively in everyday scenarios. Content: In this course, you will learn to talk about everyday topics, such as describing appearance and feelings, talking about the kind of home you live in, ordering at a restaurant, shopping for clothes and talking about hobbies. We will cover different topics, dedicating two sessions to each topic. Before each topic, you will receive supplementary materials, which include various online games and videos to help you practice vocabulary.
