Basic Finnish Club is a guided self-study course for complete beginners (A0–A1.2). It gives you a clear learning path through 39 step-by-step lessons, so you don’t have to figure out what to study and in what order.

Each lesson focuses on a specific topic and guides you through explanations, exercises and carefully selected online learning resources. The course combines Waltari Education’s own materials with external resources, such as Finnish language learning websites and online exercises.

You can start anytime, study independently at your own pace and access the course for 3 months.

Along the way, you’ll study pronunciation, essential vocabulary, practical grammar, verb types, cases, question words and useful Finnish for everyday situations.
