‘Nocturnes’, a collection of songs for the night marks the return of Levinsky, Finland’s auteur of dark and dreamlike electronic music. This riveting and progressive album, a follow-up to 2019’s powerhouse ‘Electra Complex’ features his trademarks of lush, layered melody structures, dramatic motifs and unshakable songwriting.

From the psychedelic witch rock thrills of ‘La Notte Oscura’, the sensual yet puissant ‘Un Coeur Dérangé’ all the way through the tremoring intrigue of ‘No Control (Love Theme)’ and the dreamy, jazzy textures of the closing track ‘The Tapestry Of Fantasies’, we are talking about a musically ambitious offering of impressive, cinematic and memorable themes.

The album features three talented and original guest vocalists, Enlia (France) on ‘Un Coeur Dérangé’, Witch Of The Vale (Scotland) on ‘The Strangest Flower’ and Bara Hari (USA) on ‘Capitale De La Douleur’.

The album’s mixing and production was managed by the Helsinki-based audio mastermind Antti Leiviskä, with whom Levinsky has worked also previously on his 2018 debut EP ‘Method To The Madness’.
