At LukuLab, we combine the classic Orton-Gillingham approach with cutting-edge research in child literacy and linguistics. Our program is supported by the MA SpLD/Dyslexia program at Bath Spa University, University College London EdTech Labs, and the Helsinki Education Hub.

Here’s how our process works:

Initial Consultation

We begin with a one-hour online consultation on Zoom to assess the child’s reading level and other skills crucial for literacy development.

Lessons

Following the consultation, we provide lessons four times a week, each lasting 30 minutes. During each lesson we train phonemic awarenness, morphology and syntax skills. These lessons are organized into 8-week modules, and we will find a schedule that works best for you. You can expect to see some progress within the first 8 weeks.
