Welcome to the Oasis of Dub!

Ivah Sound will string up the sound system at Keidas Cafe, bringing sound system culture to Porvoo. Join us for an evening of discovery, deep listening and heavyweight dub — from soothing sounds to thundering bass.

19:00 — An introduction to sound system culture
We begin with a presentation about the culture and our sound system: how it works, how we run it and what goes into a session. Come listen, ask questions and get an insight into the world behind the speakers.

20:00–21:00 — Dub meditation with Dub Mattas
Dub Mattas takes us on a dub meditation journey through soothing ambient sounds, meditations and smooth vibes. A moment to slow down, settle in and let the music carry you.

21:00–02:00 — Ivah Sound session with Fyah I, JahtafarI & Dub Mattas
Then we turn up the energy. Deep roots, heavyweight dub and thundering bass, played through our own hand-built sound system. Come find your place in the dance and share the vibes.

Whether you know the culture or are discovering it for the first time, you are welcome.
