🇨🇴 2hr Merengue Workshop with Mateo Zapata & Valery Moreno directly from Colombia.

Come learn and enjoy merengue dance. Merengue dance is originally from Dominican Republic like Bachata. Merengue is known to be one of the easier latin dances to master due to its more simplistic rhythmical structure. Yet, it has been said it became widely popular and was danced even in the Palladium Club in New York between the Mambo dancing.

Mateo & Valery are professional dancers from Colombia and well versed to teach merengue, which is also widely popular social dance in Colombia.

The workshop is open for everyone. You do not have to be an HSA student to participate. This workshop is very suitable for all levels of dancers, even absolute beginners. Some previous latin dance experience will of course help you to make the most out of the workshop.
