The first pattern for Helsinki Urban Yarn Fest, the Lokki Beanie, is done in collaboration with Tukuwool!
Our vision is to bring to life the symbols of our association – the waves of the sea and the knitted texture that remind us of Helsinki, its seagulls, and beautiful knitted garments. This pattern is not just a knit; it embodies the sense of community we share. We want to remind everyone that we can support and encourage each other, and that everyone can be exactly who they are – without judgment!
The Lokki Beanie is knitted bottom up using one strand of Tukuwool Fingering & one strand of Tukuwool Silk Mohair. With its simple yet engaging construction that features a triple-folded brim and a textured pattern consisting of knit and purl stitches as well as small cables. The pattern will keep you entertained and the ready made Lokki Beanie warm during the colder months.
