Thai Rodrigues, Carnival Queen from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

We are very honored to present our fabulous Helsinki Samba Carnaval Queen 2024 direct from Rio de Janeiro, samba dancer and teacher, actress, model and digital influencer and the queen of Rio Carnival year 2022. Thai Rodrigues is internationally known dancer, who has represented her country and samba culture e.g. in EXPO DUBAI 2021.

Finnish sambistas know Thai very well for her several dance performances both in Brazil as well all over the world and her skilled and versatile roles in Rio carnivals. In 2022 at the latest, she became known worldwide for winning the competition for carnival royalty and was elected queen. We were happy to have her giving workshops in Finland in August 2023, when she visited samba schools in Turku, Tampere and Helsinki.

Thai´s workshops are on Thursday June 6th and Friday June 7th. If you attend multiple workshops, remember to purchase them separately!
