The course is open to all (minimum age requirement 15 years.)

It's designed for people with little or no previous motorboat driving experience. This course is held using our VSR and Tornado Ribs. During the two days, we will focus on both theory indoors and on water motorboat driving practice. We will focus mainly on practical learning and the theory will be limited to minimum.

After the course, you have learned the basics of driving, navigating on waters, preparing and securing a boat properly. After the course you are ready to drive a powerboat in a safe and confident way. This course requires no prerequisites.

Course Language is English.

You have an option to join the Sailing Center during or right after the course. You will get an info pack from your coach before the course via email. If you have any questions please send an email to sailingcenter@helsinkisailing.com.

The course will be cancelled if there is less than 4 participants. If the course is cancelled Sailing Center primarily aims to offer a possibility to participate the course another time. You will find the cancellation policy here
