Freediving Fisherman & Friends organizes a freediving event in Siikajärvi in march 2025. The event has the guaranteed FFF boogie! There will be several sauna tents on the ice plus one surprise sauna handcrafted by our beloved Miro "The Handyboy" Suonperä to keep the divers hot! To cool down we set one or two 50m tracks for dynamic disciplines, couple of depth ropes and one or two shorter fun tracks for dynamic and for general horsing under the under ice.
For freediving under ice we recommend 5mm freediving wetsuit. In addition you need neoprene socks and gloves, mask, fins and enough weights (5-8kg at least). Lanyard is mandatory equipment at the event and diving is not allowed without that! We sell FreeXperience lanyards at the event and we also offer rental weights for 20€ (purchased separately before the event here https://account.app.holvi.com/group/y6Slvj+freediving-fisherman-friends/store/product/90f39f2a174e547ae5258a09e6557e11/) and some gloves and socks. Places in the event are limited so move quickly! We recommend at least Aida 2 level freediving certificate.
Participants have to fill in:
Read them carefully through and send them filled to us before the event by email freedivingfishermanandfriends@gmail.com. Diving is not allowed without these!
If you have passed other freediving course/certificate, you need extra equipment or you have additional questions contact us at freedivingfishermanandfriends@gmail.com
If the weather conditions are not suitable for organizing the event (for example thin ice) the event will be cancelled. The paid fees will be refunded.

Freediving Fisherman & Friends järjestää vapaasukellustapahtuman Siikajärvellä maaliskuussa 2025. Tapahtumassa on taattu FFF meininki! Jäällä tulee olemaan useampi telttasauna ja Miro "The Handyboy" Suonperän yllätyssauna niin porukka pysyy kuumana! Viilennykseksi sitten viritellään ainakin perus 50 metrin rata pituussukellukseen ja sitten pari syvyysköyttä. Lisäksi lyhyempiä hassutteluratoja löytyy pituussukellukseen ja muuhun oleiluun jään alla.
Jääsukellukseen suosittelemme vähintään 5 mm:n paksuista märkäpukua. Lisäksi tarvitset riittävän paksut neopreenisukat ja -hanskat sekä maskin, räpylät ja painovyön (painoja ainakin 5-8 kg). Lanyard on tapahtumassa pakollinen varuste ja ilman sitä ei saa sukeltaa! FreeXperience -lanyardeja on myytävänä ja vyöpainoja on vuokrattavissa tapahtumapaikalla . Paikkoja tapahtumaan on rajoitetusti, joten lunastathan paikkasi pikaisesti. Tapahtumaan suosittelemme vähintään Aida 2 -tason vapaasukelluskoulutusta.

Jään ollessa liian ohut, tapahtuma peruutetaan. Tässä tapauksessa maksetut osallistumismaksut palautetaan täysimääräisenä.
