Giant magnetoresistance based rotary encoder that provides both incremental quadrature and absolute position (via SSC) simultaneously. Encoder measures orientation of magnetic field and is used in conjunction with a diametrically magnetized magnet (one ∅10mm magnet provided with encoder).
