Aallonhuiput is a registered association (Aalto-yliopiston jatko-opiskelijayhdistys ry) that represents all doctoral students of Aalto University. All Aalto University doctoral students are cordially invited to join the association.

To apply for full membership, please fill in the form below. Aallonhuiput now has 8 euros membership fee for applying as a full member, After paying the membership fee your membership application will be processed at the next board meeting (about twice a month during semesters) and you will be notified by email shortly afterward.

Joining Aallonhuiput as a full member allows you to be a voting member during our annual elections. This also means that only the full members can contest for being part of the board. Apart from that, all our members automatically become part of our mailing list for announcements and news regarding doctoral studies, association events, and information relevant to your studies.

Consider joining the Aalto Doctoral Students Telegram group (t.me/aaltophd) to interact with fellow PhD candidates and following our Instagram handle (aallonhuiput) to get notified of the events.

Fill in all the blanks of the application and pay the membership fee in order to get membership in Aallonhuiput.

The board of Aallonhuiput will consider the correctly filled applications and decide on granting membership in the next board meeting.
