Kallio Calling tapahtuman kunniaksi järjestämme asiakkaille mahdollisuuden kokeilla dreijausta UDUMBARA studiolla. Teemme kukkaruukkuja Kultelan savesta, keraamikon avustuksella ja ohjauksessa kaikki onnistuu.

Hinta on 20 € nettikaupan kautta tai 25 € paikan päältä. Hinta sisältää 600 g. Kultelan savea, sorvauksen, viimeistelyn ja polton sekä 24 % Alv.

Tämä mahdollisuus on voimassa 11-17.12. Ma-pe klo 14 -20 , lauantaina 16 - 18 ja sunnuntaina klo 12 -18. Tule tämän ajan sisällä ja jos et halua odotella vuoroasi voit varata 1/2 tunnin ajan www.udumbara.youcanbook.me näin saat etuoikeuden siihen aikaan.

Udumbaran tuotteet tee kulhot ja kukkaruukut valmistetaan Ekoenergialla Kalliossa, Kultelan kylän punasavesta. Materiaali luo astioihin ihanan rehevän maanläheisen luonteen. Suomalainen villisavi on lämminhenkinen, kodikas ja ennenkaikkea ekologinen valinta, sillä se ei raaka-aineena vaadi monimutkaista prosessointia ja se poltetaan matalassa lämpötilassa valmiiksi tuotteeksi.

Kukkaruukut ovat lasittamattomia, huokoisia ja siksi mitä parhaita täyttämään kasvien fysiologisiin tarpeet. Lisäksi ne patinoituu kauniisti kun ylimääräinen kosteus ja suolat haihtuvat ruukun seinämän läpi.

Udumbara studion tuotanto on “slow designia” studion uuni poltetaan vain pari kertaa sesongissa. Ikävä kyllä nyt valmistetut kukkaruukut eivät tule jouluksi valmiiksi.

Welcome to try you luck on a pottery wheel. For Kallio Calling -event, we give our customers chance to make (with a little bit help from experienced potter) a wild clay flowerpot. Adults and children 6 years an up (accompanied by adults) are welcome. Have fun and get a lovely wild clay flowerpot you have created to remember the occasion. With experienced potter will make sure that everyone tries on pottery wheel will be successful.

The price is 20 euros from here Udumbara web-shop and 25 euros at the pottery. It will include 600g of Kultela clay, trimming, finishing, firing and 24 % VAT . You can come any of the opening times between 11th and 17 of December. The studio is open Monday to Friday from 2 pm - 7.30 pm, Saturday from 4 pm to 5.30 pm, Sunday from 12 am to 5.30 pm.

We use Ecoenergy at UDUMBARA and we work with wild, natural local clay from the small village of Kultela in Somero, Southwestern Finland. The material gives the products a wonderfully rich character. Wild clay flowerpots are not glazed and that's why are ideally suited for a plant's physiological needs. Part of their beauty is their tendency to beautify with age as they weather and absorb mineral salts from the soil.

When you make your planters in Kultela clay, you don't just get handmade pottery, you get a piece of Finland too.

Working at the studio with Kultela clay is truly slow design as the potteries big kiln is only fired few times per season and it takes much more time and patient when working with wild clay. We will inform you when they are ready, so remember to be patient, unfortunately they are not ready for Christmas.
