Product description

Join our wild clay — intensive workshop at UDUMBARA studio. Friday the 10th of June from 4.30 PM to 7.15 PM and Saturday the 11th 11 AM to 2.30.

We will have a small group 8. This class is for the ones who have already been in the UDUMBARA workshop before;

Friday, we will be throwing pots and Saturday, learn trimming and decoration with colored clay. On Saturday, we will also serve light lunch (salad and bread).

Coping With COVID-19: Prudence On arrival at the studio, wash your hands. Be conscious of what you touch in common areas. If the weather permits, we will lift the wheels out to the front of the studio so we can have a lot of fresh air. If you are sick with a fever or cough — no matter whether you were officially tested and diagnosed with COVID-19 — do not come to the class.

YOU OWN apron, and please wear clothes and shoes you're ok with getting dirty. The Iron rich wild clay will leave stains on light-colored garments. If you have long hair, plan on having a way to secure it.

Osaamme myös suomea, tervetuloa. Vi talar också svenska, välkommen.

Tuition is 138 €; The fee includes all materials up to 10 kg Kultela clay, guidance + firing, glazing, and colors for four vessels + 24 % VAT.

Each adult and child (10+) attending needs to be enrolled separately and pay the class fee. Throwing on the potter's wheel is challenging but fun and excellent practice to find your center. This activity demands focus and can open up the mind and relieve you of outside worries.

At UDUMBARA, you are submerged in a real pottery studio with an experienced potter (Eva Spoof). We have seven potters wheels in the studio.

Our apologies, but because of the limited capacity, we need to maintain full attendance in all classes, and that's why we have the exact and strict cancellation policy. Please ensure you understand that we will be unable to offer a refund, before paying the fee. Refunds can only be considered if there is at least two weeks' notice (for any reasons, sickness, etc.). Spaces can be passed on to friends.

A full refund will be given if your workshop is canceled by the Udumbara Studio & Gallery for any reason.

The pottery wheel and ceramics studio, in general, can be a dirty, messy place. No matter what precautions you take, you will end up with clay on your clothes and shoes. Working at the studio with Kultela clay is "slow design," and big pottery kiln is only fired a few times per season. We will inform you when flowerpots are ready, so remember to be patient.

We will not be responsible for any unclaimed pottery after two months of the date of when they are ready, and you have been informed. Thank You and Welcome to UDUMBARA
