Product description

Join our wild clay FLOWER POT — intensive workshop at UDUMBARA studio. We will have a small group for a relaxed workshop with individual attention - easy to follow pottery. This class is suitable for all levels.

Osaamme myös suomea, tervetuloa. Vi talar också svenska, välkommen.

Coping With COVID-19: Prudence Let us take exercise extra caution and use a surgical mask as a precautionary measure on the classes. We will have only six students per workshop, and because of the limited capacity, we need to maintain full attendance in all classes, and that's why we have an exact and strict cancellation policy. Please read, understood, and agreed to our refund policy before purchase.

Tuition is 75 €; The fee includes all materials up to 6 kg Kultela clay, guidance + flowerpot firing two vessels + 24 % VAT. Each adult and child (10+) attending needs to be enrolled separately and pay the class fee.

Throwing on the potter's wheel is challenging but fun and excellent practice to find your center. This activity demands focus and can open up the mind and relieve you of outside worries.

At UDUMBARA, you are submerged in a real pottery atelier with an experienced potter (Eva Spoof). Everyone takes a turn with Eva, and everyone has their wheel to work.

Class size is limited and will be filled on a first-come,first-served basis.

Like piano playing, the pottery wheel takes time and patience to master, and beginners may become frustrated early on. The pottery wheel and ceramics studio, in general, can be a dirty, messy place. No matter what precautions you take, you will end up with clay on your clothes and shoes.

BRING YOU OWN apron and FACE mask, and please wear clothes and shoes you're ok with getting dirty. Long nails can cause accidental gouges in the piece you're working on. If you have long hair, plan on having a way to secure it.

Working at the studio with Kultela clay is "slow design," and big pottery kiln is only fired a few times per season. It also takes much more time and patient when working with wild clay. We will inform you when flowerpots are ready, so remember to be patient.

Refunds and Cancellations, General Class Information: Please read this in detail before the purchase. Thank you. Important: We need to maintain full attendance in all classes, and that's why we have an exact and strict cancellation policy.

Refunds can only be considered if there is at least one weeks' notice (for any reasons, sickness, etc.). If you are sick with a fever or cough — no matter whether you were officially tested and diagnosed with COVID-19 — do not come to the class. You can pass on your space to a friend.

If there will be a new pan epidemic lockdown, we will move the classes to a later date, with no refunds.

A full refund will be given if your workshop is canceled by the Udumbara Studio & Gallery for any reason.
