Ticket Sales Terms and Conditions

The event tickets are offered to professionals.

In case there is a change in the event program, venue or services (for example a speaker is changed or cancelled or there are technical or quality issues), or the event is partially or entirely cancelled, or the event is postponed to a later date, or in any other case, the event will not pay and is not liable for any fees, costs, losses, potential losses or direct or indirect damages accrued to any participant or ticket purchaser (for example travel or accommodation costs or loss of working hours or business).

The event ticket as well as any associated costs or fees are not refundable or cancellable after the purchase has been made. The purchased ticket can be transferred to another person by contacting Agile Finland ry prior to the event.

In case the event is postponed to a later date, the purchased ticket will automatically apply to the new date(s). Only in the case that the event is entirely cancelled (and not postponed), the purchaser will receive a refund of the paid ticket price (deducted with service costs and fees, if any).

Attendees shall follow the event code of conduct. The event representatives have the right to remove any person breaching the code of conduct from the event. In such a case, the event doesn’t refund or reimburse any fees, costs, losses, potential losses or direct or indirect damages accrued to this person, entity or business.

The event is not liable for people’s or speakers’ behaviour or presentation contents. With a speaker, we mean a keynote speaker, regular speaker or workshop presenter.

Event Code of Conduct

Agile Coach Camp Finland follows Agile Finland's Code of Conduct. All members, attendees, organisers, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, etc. involved are required to agree to Code of Conduct. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a professional, respectful, safe and inclusive environment for everybody.

Sponsoring Terms and conditions

An agreement on a sponsorship package for the Agile Finland Ry Event Name/conference and any additional services is made when the Sponsor and Agile Finland ry have agreed upon them in writing e.g. by email. The Sponsor agrees to pay the listed price for the chosen sponsorship package. If the Sponsor and Agile Finland ry agree in writing on the provision of additional services not listed in this document as part of the agreed sponsorship package, the Sponsor shall also pay for all such additional services. The payment term is 30 days.

The Sponsor grants Agile Finland ry the right to use its brand-related intellectual property in promoting the ScanAgile conference, including logos and other brand trademarks. The Sponsor is responsible for delivering the required brand-identity materials to Agile Finland ry well in time before the conference, as instructed by Agile Finland ry.

Agile Finland ry’s liability and responsibility to the Sponsor is limited to providing the specific sponsorship package chosen by the Sponsor in the scope set out in this document or as otherwise specifically agreed upon between the parties. Except for damages arising out of Agile Finland ry’s gross negligence or willful misconduct, Agile Finland ry is not liable for any indirect, consequential or punitive damages or expenses, including but not limited to loss of profits or business.

If the nature or scope of the sponsorship package must be changed for any reason by Agile Finland ry, it agrees to notify the Sponsor thereof in writing without delay. Agile Finland ry shall have the right to make minor changes to the agreed sponsorship package or changes that are necessary due to law, force majeure, public authorities’ orders or recommendations, or due to causes related to the location of the conference. Naturally, Agile Finland ry uses its reasonably available efforts to not make changes to an agreed sponsorship package.

In case the conference is postponed to different dates, its program is changed or the conference is moved to a different location for any reason, the made agreement on a sponsorship package shall automatically apply to the postponed/changed/moved conference.

An agreed sponsorship package is not transferable or refundable for any reason. If the Sponsor cannot meet the financial requirements of the agreed sponsorship package, the Sponsor agrees to provide written notification to Agile Finland ry in a timely manner so that the Promoter may find another suitable sponsor well in time before the conference. If a replacement sponsor is found well in time before the conference, Agile Finland ry may, at its discretion, relieve the Sponsor of its payment obligation in full or in part. Agile Finland ry is not obligated to carry out the agreed sponsorship package, if it has not been fully paid for by the Sponsor in accordance with the agreed terms of payment.

The agreement between the Sponsor and Agile Finland ry shall be construed and governed by the laws of Finland, excluding its choice of law provisions. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or relating to the agreement shall be settled by the District Court of Helsinki.
